We all know that the perfect Disney vacation requires a lot of planning. So why not record all your planning notes in a cute little journal! It even doubles as a memory keeper for after your vacation!
Supplies
- Composition Notebook
- Patterned Paper
- Embellishments
- Adhesive
- Trimmer
- Score tool
- Corner Rounder
Directions Note – All measurements are for a Target brand composition notebook with 100 sheets college ruled size 7.5″ x 9.75″. Measurements may vary slightly by brand.
Covers
1. Cut a 7″ x 10.75″ piece of patterned paper.
2. Adhere to the front cover starting at the edge of the binding.
3. Open the book and score along the edges of the cover.
4. Place adhesive on the paper edges and fold over.
5. Cut a 7.5″ x 9.75″ piece of paper and adhere to the inside front cover.
6. Repeat for the back cover.
7. Decorate front cover as desired.
Pockets
1. Adhere three sheets of notebook paper together. This will help keep the pocket sturdy.2. Cut a 7.25″ x 4″ piece of patterned paper.
3. Round the bottom right corner of the patterned paper.
4. Add a strip of adhesive close to the left, right, and bottom edges of the patterned paper.
5. Attach to the top page of glued group of notebook paper.
6. Repeat for each pocket you want in the journal
Tabs
1. Cut a 2″ x 2″ piece of patterned paper.
2. Fold in half.
3. Attach with adhesive to the edges of the tab and attach to the notebook paper.
4. Repeat for every tab you would like in the journal.
This project is also great for making planners for the holidays, birthdays, parties, or even your everyday to-do list!

Very good idea! I can see this also as a personalized cookbook, a wedding/shower organizer, a personal home inventory or even a special journal! Endless possibilities from a versatile project!
