A few months a go, I made several blankets for the Disney Give A Day, get a Day program for the Project Linus program. I had so much fun making them, I made one for my niece's 11th birthday.

She dearly loves Toy Story, so when I found this TS fleece, I knew that I had to do something with it. As you can see from the picture, she loved it!

I do have instructions for this if anyone would like to see them, I can post it. They are a bit extensive, but not too hard. Let me know what you think!

Here is the link for the other blankets that are made the same way that I made for Project Linus.

http://www.scrappingthemagic.com/for...ead.php?t=1893

As you can see, the possibilities for these are almost endless.

My niece asked me to embroider her name and a Disney character on her backpack. All I had thread for was a dalmation. I think it turned out cute because of a small accident. The dog was supposed to right next to her name, but the program put it a bit further down then what I had it, but it turned great. Now the dog looks like he is sitting on the front pouch.

Now I need to try more Disney embroidery!

They SUPER easy.

I simply made a white cake mix and added about 2 Tablespoons of a patriotic decorating mix that I bought in the cake/candy section of Michael's.

I then decorated the cupcakes with red, white, and blue icing. I used store icing and tinted it with icing colors, again from Michael's.

I then sprinkled the icing cakes with more of the patriotic sprinkles that I had in the batter and topped then off with premade sugar decorations.

They were a big hit at my family Labor Day picnic.

When I first saw the promo for this, I thought it was a Disney Channel April Fool's joke. :giggle1:

How can the same network that gave us the genius of Phineas and Ferb,
actually be serious in giving us this load of mess! :shocked2: I mean, seriously, what audience tested this and said it was a great show for Disney?:inquisitive:

The following video clip is 12 minutes long. Trust me when I tell you that you won't need to watch the whole thing to see what I'm talking about.

I will apologize to those of you out there that actually like this show.
Even if you like it, you'll have to admit that it's not the same Disney standard that we've come to know and love.

I looked on the official Disney Channel website first to post a link to a video of it there instead of a You Tube video.
The only thing they had was a music video of it set to the music of "We Rock" from Camp Rock 2.
I like the music from CR2 so it made the show seem a little better. However, even set to music I like, it's still hideous!
Disney, what are you doing? You don't need a show to compete with a sponge and a starfish!!!
