Card Sketch Challenge - November `09 - Window to the World
Welcome to November's Card Sketch Challenge! For this challenge series, we will provide a sketch and you make a card either using the sketch 100%, or you can loosely follow it. The card can be any theme you want - birthday, thank you, thinking of you, etc.
Just have fun with it! Also, you don’t have to stop at just one card! November's Sketch is: Card Dimensions Overall - 6" x 4.5" Large Square - 3.75" x 3.75" Small Squares - 1.5" x 1.5" Frame Spacing - .25" I have three visions in my head on how this sketch can work, but I don't want to lead you into a certain design so I'm going to enjoy watching what you all come up with! Happy Card Making! |

Thanks for another sketch. My mother-in-law has requested that I make her more greeting cards for Christmas this year (I have given them to her in the past). Also, the attendees of the monthly scrap/paper crafting night I host are going to provide our prayer team with hand-made cards to use this year. One of the ladies sends a birthday card to each church member.
So, I know I can use the all the sketches for inspiration as I set up the designs for the card making event on Jan 2.

Thanks for the update! I printed out the instructions this morning and being a newbie, would have been lost at the measurements!

Do you print out just the first post and do you print out every sketch/project? Would it be helpful to also attach/link PDFs for printing?

For me, a PDF would work great! But either way is fine. I have a binder that I keep all of that sort of thing in and refer to it when I am working on or looking for a project. They are great resource tools. I even pull out pages and pictures from magazines that have great ideas in them. I am such a geek about those things. I have a binder for every craft division that I work on. - papercraft, scrapbooking, quilting, sewing, doll/teddy bear clothes, the list goes on.....

This is cute, but I liked your "creepy penguins" - it needs the *right* sentiment... I think you need to post it and see what ideas we can come up with!
"They see you when you're sleeping..." My humor is a little off today!
