I have three visions in my head on how this sketch can work, but I don’t want to lead you into a certain design so I’m going to enjoy watching what you all come up with!

World Card Making Day Operation Write Home Blog Hop

It’s World Card Making Day and we are celebrating by participating in the Operation Write Home Blog Hop! In case you don’t know, Operation Write Home (OWH) is an organization that collects handmade cards and sends them to our troops overseas. The soldiers then use the cards to write to their families! It’s a really great group and I’m proud to be a part of it! As a former Air Force brat, I’m very supportive of our military and it makes me feel good that I get to help our heros stay in touch with their loved ones.

Before we get to our challenge, here are a couple of quick notes if you are new to OWH. The deadline for all Christmas cards is October 31st, 2011. If you are making an Any Hero Christmas Card (a card written from you to a hero) that deadline is November 30th, 2011. And as always, please no glitter! It’s dangerous to our troops! For a complete list of card guidelines please check out this post on OWH.

Now on to our Saturday Sketch Challenge! Here is this week’s sketch!
